Walkertown suffers fourth straight loss at home

This season hasn't been kind to the Walkertown Wolfpack, who are still winless after their seventh contest. They took a serious blow against Lexington on Tuesday, falling 58-13. Walkertown has struggled against Lexington recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Lexington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayla Cowan led the charge by scoring 15 points. That's the first time this season that Cowan scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Lily Ervin, who scored 14 points.

Walkertown's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walkertown has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome West Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. West Stokes is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Lexington will be home for the holidays to greet East Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
