Volleyball Recap: Griffin Comes Up Short

Griffin lost against Langston Hughes back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Griffin was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22.

Griffin dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Langston Hughes, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.

Coming up, Griffin will challenge Luella at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Langston Hughes, they will take on Douglas County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
