Football Game Preview: Stuart Broncos vs. Ansley/Litchfield Spartans

The Stuart Broncos will venture away from home to face off against the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stuart has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 168 points over their last three contests.

On Friday, Stuart was fully in charge, breezing past Shelton 47-16. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won six games by 22 points or more so far this season.

Kayde Ramm produced another solid effort throwing for 43 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also punching in one rushing score. What's more, he racked up 144.2 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Atwood Albrecht was in the mix too, providing Stuart with two scores.

Stuart didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Nigel Addison, Drew Schmaderer, and Kole Estill picked up one apiece. Addison got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Ansley/Litchfield played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Hampton, falling 73-20. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.

Stuart's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Ansley/Litchfield, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Stuart against Ansley/Litchfield when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 53-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
