Soccer Game Preview: Legacy Christian Academy vs. Dayton Christian

The Legacy Christian Academy Knights are taking a road trip to square off against the Dayton Christian WARRIORS at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

On Friday, Legacy Christian Academy made easy work of Botkins and carried off a 5-1 victory. Legacy Christian Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Botkins with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Anna Sweeney (2), Aubrey Davis, Ava Combs, and Claire Solomon.

Meanwhile, Dayton Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Clinton-Massie on Monday, taking the game 3-1.

Dayton Christian now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Legacy Christian Academy took their win against Dayton Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
