Softball Recap: Campbell-Savona's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Campbell-Savona made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Addison, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Panthers fell just short of the Knights by a score of 5-3 on Friday. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Campbell-Savona saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allana Atkinson, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Campbell-Savona fell to 4-1. As for Addison, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Campbell-Savona will challenge Arkport Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Addison, they will face off against Avoca-Prattsburgh at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
