Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against Lighthouse Prep Academy

Liberty Christian Academy's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Lighthouse Prep Academy Eagles 65-43. Liberty Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Tommy Meyer was a one-man wrecking crew for Liberty Christian Academy as he went 11 of 23 en route to 23 points and four steals. That's the most steals Meyer has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Willy Mueller, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Stammer, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Little, who posted 13 points.

Liberty Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Lighthouse Prep Academy, their defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Liberty Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-24 loss against Westwood Baptist Academy on the 17th. As for Lighthouse Prep Academy, they will head out to face off against Jamestown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
