Preview: Reynolds Raiders vs. Eisenhower Knights
Reynolds is 6-0 against Eisenhower since October of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Reynolds Raiders will take on the Eisenhower Knights at 7:00 p.m. Reynolds is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Reynolds had to suffer through a rough 51-19 loss at the hands of North East. While losing is never fun, Reynolds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 504th, while North East is ranked 186th).
Meanwhile, Eisenhower had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 21-14 win over Girard.
Among those leading the charge was Tucker Lindell, who rushed for 62 yards and two touchdowns. Lindell is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.
North East's victory bumped their season record to 8-2 while Reynolds' defeat dropped theirs to 4-6.
Reynolds strolled past Eisenhower in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 by a score of 28-14. Does Reynolds have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eisenhower turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
