Basketball Game Preview: Sasakwa Vikings vs. Paden Pirates

Sasakwa is 0-10 against Paden since January of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Sasakwa's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Back in December of 2024, Sasakwa got the win against Moss by a conclusive 83-57. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Paden had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three back in December of 2024. They managed a 58-53 victory over the Bulldogs.

Paden has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Sasakwa, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Sasakwa came up short against Paden in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 53-45. Can Sasakwa avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
