Basketball Recap: North DeSoto Takes a Loss

North DeSoto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Loyola College Prep Flyers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Griffins came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 349th, while the Flyers are ranked 1178th).

North DeSoto's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Loyola College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 9-22.

North DeSoto has already played their next game (against Haynesville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Loyola College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Northwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
