Baseball Recap: Milton Academy Mustangs vs. Lawrence Academy Spartans
Milton Academy extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 4-6 in the process. They came up short against the Lawrence Academy Spartans, falling 9-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered since April 1, 2024.
As for Lawrence Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. They haven't had any issues with Milton Academy recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
For Lawrence Academy's part, they got a great performance from Logan Forgie as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits.
