It was fun while it lasted, but Doherty Memorial's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Friday. They fell 69-60 to the St. John's Pioneers. The loss put an end to the Highlanders' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Doherty Memorial fell to 6-1. As for St. John's, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Doherty Memorial will head out to square off against Burncoat at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
