Football Recap: Center Point-Urbana Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Center Point-Urbana and Marion, and Marion kept the tradition alive. The Stormin' Pointers took a 21-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves on Friday. The Stormin' Pointers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Center Point-Urbana's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Marion, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Center Point-Urbana is taking a road trip to challenge Anamosa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marion, they will welcome Davenport North at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
