Softball Recap: Midland Trail Patriots vs. Summers County Bobcats
The matchup between Midland Trail and Summers County on Wednesday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Patriots' pitcher stepped up to hand the Bobcats a 20-0 shutout. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Madison Rader made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
