Basketball Recap: South Ridge Comes Up Short

South Ridge lost against North Woods back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The South Ridge Panthers were dealt a 75-43 defeat at the hands of the North Woods grizzlies. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

South Ridge now has a losing record at 3-4. As for North Woods, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Ridge will venture away from home to challenge Floodwood at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. South Ridge is facing Floodwood at the right time seeing as Floodwood is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for North Woods, they will square off against Ely at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
