Volleyball Recap: The Burlington School Starts Season with Victory Against Henderson Collegiate

The Burlington School had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Henderson Collegiate Pride with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant The Burlington School was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-8.

Alexis Coley paced The Burlington School's offense, picking up six kills. Coley got some help from Eryn Timmons and her 14 assists. Timmons was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Henderson Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, The Burlington School is taking a road trip to square off against Westchester Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Henderson Collegiate, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against KIPP P on the 15th.
