Basketball Game Preview: St. Charles vs. McDonough Rams

St. Charles is 10-0 against McDonough since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. St. Charles will hit the road for the first time this season to take on the McDonough Rams at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

McDonough better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when St. Charles really get things going. St. Charles took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 57-30 victory over Glen Burnie. The win made it back-to-back victories for St. Charles.

Kyoko Johnson-Reeves had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 boards. Those 20 points gave her a new career-high. Jayla Coleman was another key player, going 7 of 15 on her way to 17 points and eight steals.

Meanwhile, McDonough made easy work of Lackey on Friday and carried off a 59-33 win.

St. Charles beat McDonough 47-40 in their previous meeting back in February. Does St. Charles have another victory up their sleeve, or will McDonough turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
