Softball Recap: Fulton Falcons vs. Carter Green Hornets

Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell victim to a tough 12-2 loss at the hands of the Carter Green Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Fulton of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

For Carter's part, Hayden Neely tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Neely has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
