Football Game Preview: Merrimack Valley Pride vs. Trinity Pioneers

The Merrimack Valley Pride will square off against the Trinity Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Merrimack Valley has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with seven straight losses, while Trinity will come in with three straight wins.

On Friday, Merrimack Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 12-7 to ConVal.

Meanwhile, Trinity faced Pelham in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Pioneers came out on top against the Pythons by a score of 23-13.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Merrimack Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Merrimack Valley might still be hurting after the 44-18 loss they got from Trinity in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Pride avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
