Basketball Recap: Rio Linda Takes a Loss

Rio Linda's tournament run continued when they took on East Nicolaus on Thursday. The Rio Linda Knights fell 64-55 to the East Nicolaus Spartans.

Rio Linda's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for East Nicolaus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Linda will square off against Dixon at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. East Nicolaus and Skyline will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. East Nicolaus has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
