Basketball Game Preview: King/Drew Golden Eagles vs. Lynwood Knights

The King/Drew Golden Eagles will take on the Lynwood Knights in a holiday battle at on Wednesday. King/Drew will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

King/Drew is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were beaten by Inglewood 95-57 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Golden Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1033rd, while the Sentinels are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, Lynwood was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 50-44 to Serra.

King/Drew's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-7. As for Lynwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything came up roses for King/Drew against Lynwood when the teams last played back in December of 2022, as the squad secured a 78-42 victory. Will King/Drew repeat their success, or does Lynwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
