Baseball Game Preview: Lancaster Bruins vs. Buford Yellow Jackets

The Lancaster Bruins will head out to take on the Buford Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lancaster has given up an average of 10.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Lancaster's tournament run continued when they took on Nation Ford on Monday. Lancaster came up short against Nation Ford, falling 16-2. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lancaster saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Deuce Truesdale, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Truesdale brought in this season.

Meanwhile, Buford lost 11-5 to Lewisville on Monday. The loss was the Yellow Jackets' first of the season.

Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Buford, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.

Lancaster took their victory against Buford in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 9-3. Does Lancaster have another victory up their sleeve, or will Buford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
