Basketball Recap: Cedarcrest Comes Up Short

Cedarcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Lindbergh Eagles, falling 61-36. The Red Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Cedarcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Lindbergh, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Cedarcrest will host Cleveland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lindbergh, they will head out to challenge Foster at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Foster will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Lindbergh surely won't give up without a fight.
