Highland's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Avon Eagles as the Highland Hornets made off with a 64-44 win. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Highland's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points over those games. As for Avon, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Coming up, Highland will be playing in front of their home fans against Barberton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Avon, they will head out on the road to face off against Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Steele knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 contests -- so hopefully Avon likes a good challenge.
