A District 1 Top Player Performances of the Week

Omaha Westside Wins 21st-Straight Thanks to  Tay Tay Jenkins
  Tay Tay Jenkins's big game helped extend Omaha Westside's winning streak to 21 on Thursday. Jenkins rushed for 244 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's  had all season long. His longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards.
 Omaha Westside pushed their record up to 8-0 with the  victory, which was their eighth straight  on the road dating back to last season. Jenkins and Omaha Westside will challenge Papillion-LaVista at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

 Winning always takes teamwork, but  on Thursday  Isaac Pamaran stepped things up a notch to give Papillion-LaVista the 'W'. Fremont had no answer to  Pamaran  as he made three total tackles. Pamaran also  posted 184  receiving yards, which is notable because Papillion-LaVista is undefeated when he posts  at  least  80  receiving yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
 Papillion-LaVista's win bumped their record up to 6-2. Pamaran's next  contest is against Omaha Westside on Thursday, where he'll look to repeat that solid  effort.

Brody Parr Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 On Thursday, Papillion-LaVista got the W thanks in part to  Brody Parr playing the best football he has all season. Parr rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 58 yards.
 On the season,  Parr  has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 55.8 rushing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 19.6  rushing yards per game.

 Omaha Westside picked up their 21st consecutive win   on Thursday thanks in part to  Finn Christensen. Christensen turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 89 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
 For the season,  Christensen  has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 52 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season,  he was only averaging 12  rushing yards per game.

Johnson Posts Huge Game in  69-7  Win
 Another Papillion-LaVista player making an appearance on this list is  Kale Johnson. He made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 For the year,  Johnson  has averaged 7.9 total tackles per game  and for the season has 2  interceptions.
