Soccer Game Preview: Deep Creek vs. Oscar Smith

Deep Creek is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against King's Fork on Tuesday. The Hornets and the Bulldogs finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Oscar Smith unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against Hickory, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 goals in the game before, Oscar Smith's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

With that draw, Deep Creek's record moves to 1-3-1. As for Oscar Smith, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Everything went Deep Creek's way against Oscar Smith when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Deep Creek made off with a 5-0 win. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
