Basketball Recap: Division Takes a Loss

If Division was feeling good fresh off their 61-30 takedown of Hewlett last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Division Blue Dragons took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elmont Memorial Spartans on Monday. The game marked the Blue Dragons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Division fell to 5-1. As for Elmont Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Division has already played their next game, a 58-37 victory against Roslyn on the 6th. Elmont Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
