Hickory had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Indian River Braves. The result was nothing new for Hickory, who have now won seven games by four goals or more so far this season.

Hickory's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Indian River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Hickory will head out to face off against Green Run at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hickory will be up against Green Run's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.33 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Indian River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
