San Joaquin Memorial posted their closest win since October 22, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Clovis East Timberwolves. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Timberwolves back in August, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Clovis East's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Allyson Rich, who had 16 digs, and Keniah Verduzco, who had ten assists and five aces.

San Joaquin Memorial moved to 7-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Clovis East, they now also have a losing record of 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Joaquin Memorial will welcome Immanuel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
