Royal put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Zillah Leopards a 15-0 shutout. Fans of the Knights have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Jill Allred was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI and two doubles.

In other batting news, Emerson Eilers was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Audrey Bergeson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Royal always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .561. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .512 or higher in six consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Royal pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

They will have a chance to go back-to-back against Zillah: the pair will be back at it again later today.
