            Football Recap: Stratford Knights vs. Colleton County Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            While Stratford put up plenty of  points on Friday, the same  can't be said for Colleton County. The Knights blew past the Cougars, posting  a  51-0 win. Considering the Knights have won three matches by more than 43  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jachin Davis continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 72 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 164 yards and two  TDs while completing 81% of his passes.
 Davis was just one part of a punishing run game: Stratford was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 219  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Colleton County only  rushed for 33  rushing yards.

The  victory was  the fourth in a row for Stratford, bringing their record up to 4-1. The  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 51.3 points over those games. As for Colleton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
 Stratford and Colleton County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next  games. The next time the Knights see the field they'll take on Berkeley  at 7:30  p.m.  on October 3. As for Colleton County, their break will end when they face May River  at 7:30  p.m.  on October 3.
