Soccer Recap: Northeastern Clinton Comes Up Short

Northeastern Clinton fought the good fight in their overtime match against Peru on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Nighthawks by a score of 4-3. Northeastern Clinton were not able to make up for their loss to Peru from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Northeastern Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Peru, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeastern Clinton will welcome Chateaugay at 6:30 p.m. on October 3. As for Peru, they will be playing at home against AuSable Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
