Basketball Recap: Hodgeman County Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Hodgeman County extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Hazen Rydquist. The Hodgeman County Longhorns walked away with a 50-41 victory over the Bucklin Red Aces on Friday thanks in part to Rydquist, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 boards. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall Burns, who posted seven points along with nine rebounds and six assists. Those six assists gave him a new career-high.

Hodgeman County's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Bucklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9-2.

Hodgeman County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Meade at 7:00 p.m. As for Bucklin, they will square off against Pawnee Heights at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bucklin is facing Pawnee Heights at the right time seeing as Pawnee Heights is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
