Soccer Game Preview: Coolidge vs. Washington Latin Public Charter School

The Coolidge Colts will face off against the Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Coolidge played against Jackson-Reed back in September and lost via forfeit.

Washington Latin Public Charter School is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: School Without Walls, who was ranked tenth at the time (Washington Latin Public Charter School was ranked 15th). The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Penguins on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, Washington Latin Public Charter School's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Washington Latin Public Charter School's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4-1. As for Coolidge, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.
