Volleyball Recap: Annandale Gets the Win

Annandale posted their closest win since September 6th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres, sneaking past 2-1.

Gabi Schumann and Lilly Beckstrom certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Schumann had 24 digs and three assists, while Beckstrom had nine digs and three aces.

Annandale's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-12 record this season.

Annandale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Delano on the 13th. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Detroit Lakes on the 14th.
