Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson lost against Waterloo West on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wahawks. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-27. As for Waterloo West, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-26.

Coming up, Jefferson will head out to take on Iowa City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Waterloo West, they have already played their next matchup, a 5-1 loss against Dowling Catholic on the 28th.
