It was a proper cat-fight when Monroe County challenged Wilcox Central on Tuesday. The Tigers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 77-76 to the Jaguars. The Tigers have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Monroe County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Wilcox Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Monroe County will square off against Escambia County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilcox Central has already played their next game (against Marengo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
