After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warren Township, Grant Community was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Grayslake North Knights with a sharp 21-8 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Grant Community's victory bumped their record up to 13-8-1. As for Grayslake North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-6.

Coming up, Grant Community will be playing in front of their home fans against Round Lake at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.8 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Grayslake North, they will head out on the road to square off against Grayslake Central at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Rams have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
