Mason waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Roger Bacon Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. For the Comets, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Mason never let Roger Bacon on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-10.

Mason pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Roger Bacon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Mason nor Roger Bacon have any future games scheduled.
