Football Game Preview: Tea Titans vs. Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors

Tea is 0-5 against Pierre T.F. Riggs since September of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Titans will take on the Governors at 7:00 p.m.

Tea managed to slip by Washington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Titans lost 27-7 to the Warriors on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Pierre T.F. Riggs never let their opponents score on Thursday. They breezed past Douglas to the tune of 49-0. The result was nothing new for the Governors, who have now won three contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

Pierre T.F. Riggs' win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.7 points on average over those games. As for Tea, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Tea came up short against Pierre T.F. Riggs in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, falling 26-18. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
