Baseball Game Preview: Mandeville Skippers vs. Jesuit Blue Jays

The Mandeville Skippers will start their season against the Jesuit Blue Jays. First pitch is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Jesuit is headed into their matchup with Mandeville looking for a result a bit more satisfying than what they got in their season opener against Northshore on Saturday. Neither Jesuit nor Northshore could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 tie.

Jesuit's tie makes their record 0-0-1 this season.

As for Mandeville, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they had a stellar season and finished 28-9.

Mandeville beat Jesuit 6-1 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mandeville since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
