St. Andrew's Episcopal had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Pearl Pirates 3-0 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won seven in a row.

St. Andrew's Episcopal walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-17, 25-16.

Bailey Chism and Taylar Walker certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Chism had ten digs and four assists, while Walker had nine digs and six kills. Walker also put up an assist, which was her first of the season.

Pearl is on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

St. Andrew's Episcopal will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Newton County at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Pearl, they will take on Oak Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
