Volleyball Recap: Veterans Find Success

Veterans posted their closest victory since August 14th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Strong Rock Christian Patriots 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warhawks also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2020.

Veterans had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-18, 15-8.

The win made it two in a row for Veterans and bumps their season record up to 12-3. As for Strong Rock Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Veterans wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Eagle's Landing on the 23rd. As for Strong Rock Christian, they will welcome Ola at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
