Recap: Pullman Christian Sharks vs. North Idaho Christian Royals
The Pullman Christian Sharks lost against the North Idaho Christian Royals back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Pullman Christian was dealt a 61-24 defeat at the hands of North Idaho Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Pullman Christian has suffered against North Idaho Christian since January 12, 2021.
North Idaho Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Symone Pilgrim led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Pilgrim hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Jennifer Peterson, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and four steals.
Pullman Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Idaho Christian, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with that win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.
Pullman Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Idaho Christian will head out on the road to face off against Stillwater Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Stillwater Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 99th in Montana, while North Idaho Christian is ranked 34th in Idaho).
