Knappa has gone 10-0 against Gaston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Knappa Loggers will venture away from home to square off against the Gaston Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Knappa has six straight victories, Gaston has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Saturday, Knappa ended the year with a bang, routing Weston-McEwen 58-38. The Loggers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-35, which was the final score in Gaston's tilt against Scio on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Loggers are ranked 104th).

Knappa pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30 points. As for Gaston, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Knappa strolled past Gaston when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 65-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Knappa since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
