Westerville North gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 24-0 margin over the Westerville Central Warhawks. The Warriors not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 13, 2024 (when they won 45-0).

Westerville North didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Moussa Magassouba and Tay Wright.

Westerville North and Westerville Central could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Warriors will challenge Olentangy Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (132 vs. 44). Meanwhile, Westerville Central (ranked 223rd) will meet Westerville South (ranked 101st) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
