Basketball Recap: Calexico Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Calexico waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They snuck past the Indio Rajahs with a 52-48 win. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 307th, while the Rajahs are ranked 1248th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Calexico is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Indio, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calexico will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Palm Desert at 2:00 p.m. on January 11, 2025. As for Indio, they will host Yucca Valley at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
