Softball Recap: Waseca Comes Up Short

Waseca fell victim to Belle Plaine and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bluejays' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Waseca's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Belle Plaine, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waseca will welcome New Ulm at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Belle Plaine, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] at 5:30 p.m. The matchup will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
