Alton never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Cabool Bulldogs as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The game marked the Comets' most dominant win of the season so far.

The victory made it two in a row for Alton and bumps their season record up to 3-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Cabool, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
