Baseball Recap: Buffalo's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After a string of three wins, Buffalo's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 7-3 to the St. Albans Red Dragons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bison of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Anthony Pitchford and Caiden Craig did some serious damage despite the final result: Pitchford got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI, while Craig went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Craig has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for St. Albans, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Coming up, Buffalo will be playing at home against Ravenswood at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Albans, they will venture away from home to face off against Sherman at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
