Volleyball Recap: Kimberly Papermakers vs. Appleton East Patriots
With a playoff win on the line, Kimberly rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Appleton East Patriots. Winning may never get old, but the Papermakers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-11, 25-19.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kimberly to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emma Tesch, who had five digs and two aces. What's more, Tesch racked up 20 assists, the most she's had since October 2nd. Another player making a difference was Finley Van Lannen, who had 15 digs and two aces.
Loss or not, Appleton East got some senior leadership from Zoe Wockenfus and Opal Sparkman. Wockenfus had 16 digs and one assist, while Sparkman had 11 digs and four assists.
Kimberly's victory bumped their record up to 29-13. As for Appleton East, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-25.
Looking ahead, Kimberly will take on De Pere on Thursday. Appleton East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
